Wild 9 Wilderness Congress
The ninth annual World Wilderness Congress in Mexico gathered world leaders and environmentalists to protect wilderness areas while meeting the needs of human communities, through public and private partnerships. The WILD Foundation, its sponsor, has been devoted to this mission for 40 years.
At the behest of environmental activist and messaging guru, Larry Kopald - the Creative Director of the project, Tarr produced the opening film for the conference.
With a script written by Kopald and edited by Steve Armstrong, the film got a standing ovation at the conference which was one of the most successful to date.
Among many important accomplishments, the Wild 9 Congress established over 3 million acres of transboundary conserved land in Mexico and the U.S.
